From the list above I prefer TUTSPLUS and LYNDA.

I recently discovered another tutorial site similar to LYNDA called ALLISON COURSES.  Allison is okay but they have the same tutorials as LYNDA which makes them (in my opinion) in competition.

Now taking this to another lever, it takes time to produce a tutorial and most tutorial submitters will submit their tutorials to as many websites as they can to receive reciprocation for their efforts.  So, you may see the same tutorial on a dozen other websites.

Numbers 8 and 9?  Never ran across either of the two but I will pay them a visit after submitting this post.

Great starter thread MEGA!  Cheers!

I am working on a website for a DJ and this rank image would be awesome to use.

After looking at the design, it reminds me of a microphone.

Props!   Thanks!

I'm going to download these cuts.

I'll post back the outcome when I'm done -- thinking about a wallpaper using the images and a military quote.

Updating my intro thread and ...

I'm moving right along with my game design career.  However, C++ is really hard considering the fact it's part of my game design course.  It's evident one have had to have years of practice to even get a grasp on the concept of coding using this language.  So, I made a decision to change my course curriculum from game development to game design with focus on assets -- which is easier (so far).

The cool thing about assets is you can create and gather everything together you think you may need to create awesome designs.  It's like ... taking this, that and the other and putting them together on different layers using photoshop to design awesome outcomes.  The course I'm taking has given me more insight on creating art for gaming arena's.

Since I'm not an avid gamer which is a prerequisite for developers, its harder for me to understand a game flow which of course would hinder me from quickly designing graphics for gamers. That being said, it actually takes me almost 3-days to design something as simple as a game banner.

At any rate, that's the skinnie and I will keep you abreast of any change of interest in my behalf.

Happy Gaming and ...  Cheers!

Nice cuts, Mega!

I like your selection because the way the soldiers stationed with their arms and legs, this great for putting Photoshops Puppet Warp to use. The arms can be lowered up, down and over producing a really cool animation effect.

I would like to download this file and use it when I start Puppet Warp projects.  I will be sure to post my outcomes once I've completed at least one rotation.

Good Job

I used Photoshop CS6 to create this video.  This is just a basic clipping mask tutorial. when I get the time, I will submit a more advanced version of using clipping masks.

This video is posted on one other site and thanks for watching.

Nice Tut MAG but I use CS6 and I'm sure after CS2 they stopped using Image Ready and just changed it to 'Animation'. I'm not 100% but I'm quite sure that was the case.

Thumb Up  I Wanna Sing

Yes, this tutorial is for those who are using Photoshop CS2.  If you're using CS6 you skip the 1st and last sentences in Step 1. Additionally, CS6 uses 'Timeline' not 'Animation'.

Okay peeps is boogy-woogy time and this is the last day for boarding up your windows and making sure all your doors are locked (from the inside of course) ... including upstairs.

The scary people always come when you least expect them because they are always watching and are probably watching you this very moment!!!!

It's real, they are real, the boogeyman is real, witches are real and so is Pinhead -- who lives as Hellraiser-- because they all dwell on your fears, desires and whatever bad things you think in your mind.

Don't turn around ... don't go to the basement and please do not under any circumstance go outside to take out your trash.  Leave it ... let it stink until the first 1st.  You can take it because you've done it before  Smoke A Doobie

Forget about Jason and Michael, they are not real; well Freddie Kruger maybe ... They were dreamed up by a writer and directed by undercover predators and serial killers; as a man thinketh so is he.

Fear the spirit of the boogey ....  Cheers!

And, don't eat a lot of candy because Jigsaw will come into your very soul and take it from you for being a glutoon for candy.   I Wanna Sing

I would just forget about the kids knocking at your door tonight; don't give them NOTHIN'-- they are actualy midgets wanting you to open your door so they can run in and rip you off of everything you own  LoL
